Grand Teton National Park.....19th & 20th June.....

We are putting behind us thoughts of the campsite and the fact that there was no electricity this morning and head out back down to Jackson through stunning Grand Teton NP.
I have had (most unusual for me) a mishap with the laptop and there is a Simply Mac store in Jackson where a really helpful young man sorts out a temporary fix......we need to be near a Simply Mac store when we are staying in an area for  a few days for a full repair...with that sorted we gather up a few supplies and head back into the park....
Of course the song for today has to be Jackson...the Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood version....
I have included photos on this post of both days that we spent in The Tetons...

These prolific sunny flowers are Arrowleaf  Balsamroot  and I was right in thinking that they are a member of the Sunflower family.....

The Snake River which flows on through Jackson to Idaho and Washington state, there joining The Columbia River and on to The Pacific...
There are beautiful spring/summer flowers throughout the park....
Jackson Lake...The Tetons and Yellowstone are a haven for fly-fishing....
Jackson Lake...
Stunning view from the summit of Signal Mountain.....we met and had a good chat with an English woman from Bristol who now lives in Atlanta...she heard our voices and the rest is history !
Majestic Tetons and more sunny flowers....

Jenny Lake and a peaceful and beautiful spot for our lunchtime sandwiches...
Jenny Lake and a nice walk along side the river...
Wile E  Coyote.....one person drives while the other keeps a look out for wildlife although usually there the clue of an animal/eagle "Jam"
We have really enjoyed The Grand Tetons or as early French Canadian fur trappers called them The Big Breasts.....
but onwards and upwards, tomorrow we depart (not a moment to soon from this campsite) to West Yellowstone...our journey will take us through The Park to the small town of West Yellowstone...
