The Enchanted Highway.......Monday 14th July....

And as they say "now for something completely different"
This is Geese In Flight, a large tin-art sculpture at the beginning of the Enchanted Highway....this highway is east along the I-94 and 12 miles past Dickinson, the largest town in these parts....it heads due south (we loved that program !) from an area on the map called Gladstone to the small farming town of Regent....
There are 8 of these sculptures, 20 to 30 feet high on the 40 mile stretch of road....this is  Deer Crossing...
why they are here in this vast grassland area we did not discover.....
Fisherman's Dream....this one for Clive....
Pheasants In The Field......
Have to say that we hadn't realised there were pheasants in USA as have never seen any...lo and behold 200 yards down the road and a small female pheasant runs across in front of us....after that sadly we did see a lot of pheasant "road kill".....

Tin Family.....
And a water-tower......this was in the neat little town of Regent......
To round off todays sightseeing a crop duster spraying the fields of rape-seed....this bring s us back to North By Northwest...luckily for us it was not a bi-plane !!!
From Regent we headed in a square back to Dickinson for a few supplies...only a Walmart but sometimes you have to go with the flow....
Tomorrow we up sticks again and move back west to Billings Montana.....
More soon all being well from The Happy Campers....
