| Today we head north across the Columbia River back into Washington to spend time on the Olympic Peninsular.... A fairly straightforward drive but being Friday the traffic is quite heavy on the I-5 and landscape very industrial but once we turn west onto the 101 it is all very rural.... |

| This is the private dock for the hotel and campsite......we were going to walk the mile back to town along the beach but the tide is in.....so much for todays exercise, will have to make up for it tomorrow when we head into the State park.... |

| It's a very beautiful spot and although it was cloudy when we left Columbia Gorge this morning it is now sunny and high 80's F... The Happy Campers are having sundowners looking over at the Hood Canal as I type this report..... |
